Mihama NPS Unit 3 has been permitted to operate beyond 40 years for the first time in Japan, satisfying the NRA's new regulatory standards based on the lessons of the Fukushima Daiichi accident.

In this tour, we will observe the following facilities/equipment for safety improvements that meet the new regulatory standards.
